Opening in 1975, Walton High School has been a staple of excellence for almost half a century. It has been among the top high schools in Georgia in SAT scores. The number of athletic accomplishments is too many to mention. Walton High School has also won State Championships in Academic Bowls, Science Bowls, & Math Bowls! Wheeler High School opened in 1965 and is known for their Advanced Studies in STEM and magnet courses. Several alumni of Wheeler High School have gone on to play in the NBA, NFL, MLB, and professional Tennis. Lassiter High School opened in 1981 and soon gained recognition in sports, arts, and academics.
