The following are statistics according to the FMLS, which is a platform for Woodstock Real Estate Agents, as of March 2023.

  • The median home price in Woodstock, Georgia was $425,000 which was up 13% from March 2022. 
  • Though home sales were up by 36%, new listings were down a 11%. 
  • Average days on market was nine (9) days in March 2023 which is up from five (5) days on market back in March 2022. 
  • Average price per square foot was up almost 18% and priced at $202. 
  • Woodstock has been one of, if not the, fastest growing area in Cherokee county.  Areas such as Canton, Holly Springs, & Ballground are following suit!

Woodstock School Ratings

Woodstock schools are all located in Cherokee county which was the fastest growing county in 2016-2017 in the metro Atlanta area.  Etowah High School was one of the sites used to film Remember the Titans!  The Washington Post named EHS in the top 10% of America’s Most Challenging High Schools from 2011-2016.  Etowah High School has won State Championships in Basketball, Swimming, Baseball, Golf, & Academic Bowl, as well as Region Winners / Runner Ups in several other categories.  Woodstock High School opened in 1996 and was STEM Certified in 2018 which makes it only one (1) of twelve (12) in the state of Georgia.  With only one (1) State Championship on record with softball, all the sports programs at Woodstock are strong competitors across the region.  The River Ridge High School Baseball team is ranked #11 in Georgia during the 2021-2022 season and sure to have an amazing season in 2022-2023!  The King’s Academy is the highest rated private school in Woodstock according to Niche.com.
